O Saint Odile, blind you were born, but by the water of baptism, God's seer you have remained.

Open the eyes of my soul with holy water, that I may see the things hidden and sealed from unclean spirits.

Deign to bathe my forehead with the baptismal water and may the gift of the triune God be reborn in me, who marks his Law in my heart with his finger. Amen.
