I ask you by your simple life in Nazareth, where you knew so many joys, but also so much pain. I ask you by the great concern you had with Mary when you lost the Child for three days.
I ask you for the joy you felt when you found him in the Temple, and for the comfort you found in Nazareth, living with the Child Jesus.
I ask you by the splendid submission that He showed in the obedience He manifested to you.
I ask this of you by the love and conformity you showed in accepting the divine order to leave this life and the company of Jesus and Mary.
I ask this of you by the joy which filled your soul when the Redeemer of the world, triumphant over death and hell, took possession of His kingdom and led you there with special honours.
I ask this of you through the glorious Assumption of Mary and through that endless happiness which you have with her in the presence of God. Oh good father! I beg you, through all your sufferings, pains and joys, to listen to me and to obtain for me what I ask.
