Saints Desperate Causes Critical situation powerful prayersThe name of the archangel Saint Raphael means "God's Remedy". He is the consoler of the afflicted, the remedy for the sick, the protector of travellers and the patron saint of doctors. He protects the family, helps to untangle the muddled affairs.
INVOCATION:
O God, who gave the blessed Archangel Raphael as a guide to your servant Tobias, grant us, your servants, the grace to be protected by him and provided with his help. Glorious prince, Archangel Raphael, remember us; here and everywhere, always pray for us, the son of God. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Raphael, you who have a special grace to assist us with God, pray for us.
PRAYER:
It is better for me that my heart bleed in your wounds, than to see it in the world full of life for sin. I am much more surely in your omnipotence than in my helplessness. I find much more joy in the sadness of your passion than in all sinful pleasures; and the grace of your blood enriches me far more than the possession of the perishable goods of the whole world.
O my Jesus! take my heart, then, and kindle it with your blood with the fire of the most tender charity for you. May it always be yours; may he always be intoxicated in you with the joys of salvation; may he always keep you embraced with fervent devotion.
O my Jesus! May my heart be wounded by your pains, and the pains of the most sincere repentance: that by being sad with you, he share in your mercies and in your graces; that by dying with you he will find life in you, who are true life, O you my eternally adorable Savior! So be it.
