Devotion to this great saint is a powerful help to women in the pains of childbirth, who pray to him above all so that the child will not be afflicted with clubfoot.
Saint Pirmin, who was, as a result of his merits, appointed bishop, left among the regions he evangelised a deep memory because of all the miracles he performed. Many pagans were converted as a result of the miracles performed in the name of Jesus Christ.

INVOCATION:
Continue, Lord, through the prayers and merits of Saint Pirmin, to cover with your special protection the pious mothers who recommend themselves in their extreme pain to the intercession of our holy bishop; May Blessed Pirmin bless, upon entering this world, the child to whom you are going to give birth. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Pirmin, whom we invoke so effectively on behalf of women in childbirth, pray for us.

PRAYER:
O my Jesus, how wonderful is the mystery of your holy Cross, on which you have redeemed the world! You are nailed to the cross, and crowned with thorns which the sins of the world have plaited around your head. Principle of our innocence and our justice, which you have sacrificed for us to your Father as a pure and perfect victim, O Jesus bleeding under the thorns with which you are crowned, let me remain all my life under this sorrowful crown, and do penance for my sins; so that I can share in the fruits of your passion, and after this life enjoy eternal happiness. So be it.
