Saints
Saint Ferreolus is invoked to obtain healing from varicose ulcers.
Saint Ferreolus was the disciple of Saint Irenaeus; his prayers, his preaching, his exhortations, his reprimands and his tears drew the protection of heaven on the city of Besançon. Seeing this, the inhabitants of Bisont converted to the Christian faith before Saint Ferreol, martyr of his Christian faith, was beheaded.
INVOCATION
O God, who, through your goodness, are always ready to give thanks and to forgive, favorably receive our prayers which we present to you through Saint Ferreolus. We ask it of you in the name of Jesus Christ your Son and our Savior, who lives and reigns in You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, for ever and ever. So be it.
Saint Ferreolus, admirable saint of indulgence and patience, pray for me; get me healing. I beg you with confidence.
PRAYER
My God, detach my heart from the goods of the earth, so that I will not perish with them, teach me that there is nothing more iniquitous than to love money, nothing more villainous than miser, who sells even his soul; grant me the grace of being poor in spirit, that the kingdom of heaven may be mine. So be it.
