Prayer to be under the protection of Saint Joseph

In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I give you my heart and my soul.
(Recite 3 Glory be to the Father to our Heavenly Father, in thanksgiving for conferring on Saint Joseph such an exceptional dignity).
O glorious Patriarch Saint Joseph, I humbly bow down to you. I pray to the Lord Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary and all the angels and the saints of the heavenly court to join me in this prayer. I offer this prayer to your precious mantle and I promise my dedication and sincere faith. I pledge to do everything in my power to honor you all my life and prove my love to you. Help me, Saint Joseph. Help me now and throughout my life, but especially at the hour of my death, as you were helped by Jesus and Mary, so that one day I may be united with you in Heaven, to honor you for all 'eternity. Amen.

O glorious Patriarch Saint Joseph, prostrated before you and your divine Son Jesus, I offer you, with sincere devotion, this precious treasure of prayer. You have not only been surrounded by the luminous splendor of the rays of the divine sun of Jesus, but you have also been magnificently illuminated by the mystical moonlight of the Blessed Virgin Mary. O glorious Patriarch, I present to you this precious mantle in your honor. Grant me, O great Saint Joseph, your benevolent gaze. I beseech you, O glorious Patriarch, so that through your intercession, the Lord never lets me go into exile in this valley of tears. I want to be considered as one of your faithful servants living with serenity under your patronage and your holy mantle. Make me always live under your protection, every day of my life and especially at the time of my last breath. Amen.
O glorious Saint Joseph, you are, after Mary, the Saint most worthy of our love and our devotion. You are the only one, above all Saints, to have been chosen to have the supreme honor of raising, nurturing and even embracing the Messiah, whom so many kings and prophets would have liked to meet. O Mighty Saint Joseph, you have been proclaimed Patron of the Universal Church; therefore, I ask for the help of your generous Heart, always ready to help us. To you, O glorious Saint Joseph, the widows, the orphans, the abandoned, the afflicted, the oppressed, all turn. There is no pain, distress, or suffering that you have not consoled. Please deign to present my petition before God, until I obtain the grace I need, and do not forget the souls in Purgatory either. Saint Joseph, listen to me! Amen. (3 Glory be to the Father)
O mighty Saint Joseph, countless are those who prayed to you and received peace, graces and your favors. My heart, so sad and aching, cannot find rest. Saint Joseph, you know all my needs, even before I express them in my prayer. You know how important this request is to me. I bow to you. Only you can help me in my grief. Saint Joseph, please hear my cry! Saint Teresa said: "Whatever you ask of Saint Joseph, he will grant it to you". O Sublime Patriarch Saint Joseph, through your perfect obedience to God, intercede for me. Through your holy life full of grace and merit, hear my prayer. By your sweet name, help me. With your holy tears, support me. Through your seven pains, intercede for me. By your seven joys, console me. From all evils of body and soul, deliver me. From all dangers and disasters, save me. Help me with your powerful intercession and obtain for me all that is necessary for salvation, and in particular for this grace which I so badly need (name this grace). Amen. Amen. O glorious Saint Joseph, countless are the graces and favors you have obtained for troubled souls, assistance to the sick, help to the oppressed, the persecuted, the betrayed, the stripped of all human comforts, the hungry…; all cried out for your mighty intercession and were comforted in their afflictions. O Saint Joseph, do not allow me to be the only one who does not feel your help. Show me your kindness and generosity, so that I can cry out "Eternal Glory to our Holy Patriarch Saint Joseph, my great Protector of the earth and Defender of souls in Purgatory. Amen.
