O Lord my God, since it is impossible to please you without faith, come and produce it in my heart, so that I may be strongly persuaded of the truths of your Gospel, and that I have all my recourse to you, my divine Savior.
Open my eyes so that I see the wonders of your Law and I know well what you have revealed in the word, but imprint these truths in my soul so that they convert me. Do that by faith, I unite myself so closely to my adorable Savior, your dear Son, that nothing will be able to separate me from him. Neither death, nor life, nor any creature.
That what I live in the flesh, that I live it only in the faith of the one who loved me and who gave himself for me and that I glorify myself only in his cross. Not only, Lord, produce faith in me; but increase it day by day so that nothing is able to shake it. But since believing with my heart in righteousness, by mouth, I confess to salvation; may this faith be operative through charity, may it be manifested through good works, so that it may one day be crowned in Heaven. So be it.
