O Mary
Dawn of the new world, Mother of the living,
We entrust to you the cause of life:
Look, O Mother, at the immense number of children who are prevented from being born, Of the poor for whom life is made difficult, Of men and women who are victims of inhuman violence, Of the old and the sick who are killed by indifference Or by false pity.
May those who believe in your Son Know how to proclaim to the men of our time With firmness and with love The Gospel of Life.
Obtain for them the grace to accept it as an ever new gift, The joy of celebrating it with gratitude in their lives And the courage to bear witness to it With active tenacity, in order to build, with all men of good will, the civilisation of truth and love, To the praise and glory of God the Creator who loves Life.
Let us pray: Mary, in this month dedicated to you, I come to you. You know all the intentions of my heart, I trust in you and in your intercession with Jesus your Son, our Saviour. Listen to my prayer...(express your intentions in silence)
