Saints
It is in Rome, in the church of the Capuchin Fathers, that Saint Felix of Cantalice is prayed to.
This pious Capuchin had no equal for the humility with which he was petrified. He still considered himself the last of his brothers and was happy in taking care of the most arduous tasks. He begged for the poor, in the streets of Rome, all his life.
Died in 1587, many miracles broke out at his tomb and attracted a great concurrence of people.
Saint Felix of Cantalice is especially invoked to obtain the cure of circulatory disorders.
INVOCATION
Most Holy Trinity, one God, who prepare infinite goods for those who love you, pour out your love in our hearts, with complete confidence in the merits of Saint Felix, so that we obtain the goods attached to his intercession and for which we will not stop praising your divine Providence. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Felix of Cantalice, assured refuge of those who call upon you, and their consolation in the sufferings and pains of life, pray for us.
PRAYER
Great God, who condemned the sinful man to eat his bread by the sweat of his brow, I submit wholeheartedly to the painful condition in which your providence has placed me. Help me with your grace to endure all its sorrows with patience and resignation. I unite my work with that of Jesus Christ my Savior, asking you to bless him and to make me find my bodily sustenance, the forgiveness of my sins and the salvation of my soul. So be it.
