Saint Chamant is invoked in diseases of languor, to restore the lost appetite.
Son of a Lord of Aquitaine, he was raised piously by his holy mother. He had the gift of speech and fiercely fought against vices, luxury, discord, revenge and all the faults proper to his century in particular, and to mankind in general.

INVOCATION
My God, do not allow your servant to waste away and die of consumption as he is threatened. We ask you, through the merits of your saints and through the intercession of Saint Chamant, to make him regain his normal taste for food so that he regains his strength to serve you better in the future. Please welcome our prayer, in consideration of the merits of Saint Chamant. We ask you, through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Chamant, safe haven for all those who call on you to find a lost appetite, pray for us.

PRAYER
O my Jesus! Never let me forget that there is only one doctor for the soul and for the body, and that this doctor is you, who are both God uncreated and man created in time, whose death is the remedy that gives true life. Be always present to my thoughts, O you who died for me! Be the object of my desires, you who have risen from the dead for us. So be it.
