Frequent recitation of this psalm will bring enemies to a terrible end.

Psalm 79
79.1
Psalm of Asaph. O God! the nations have invaded your inheritance, they have profaned your holy temple, they have made Jerusalem a heap of stones.
79.2
They have given the corpses of your servants as food to the birds of the air, the flesh of your saints to the beasts of the earth;
79.3
They shed their blood like water all around Jerusalem, and there was no one to bury them.
79.4
We have become an object of opprobrium for our neighbors, Of mockery and ridicule for those around us.
79.5
How long, Lord! will you be angry without ceasing, and will your anger be kindled like fire?
79.6
Pour out your wrath on the nations that do not know you, and on the kingdoms that do not call on your name.
79.7
For they have devoured Jacob, and destroyed his dwelling place.

79.8
Do not remember our past iniquities! May your mercies come in haste to meet us! Because we are very unhappy.
79.9
Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name! Deliver us, and forgive our sins, because of your name!
79.10
Why would the nations say, Where is their God? Let it be known in our presence among the nations that you avenge the blood of your servants, the blood that is shed!
79.11
May the moans of the captives reach you! With your mighty arm save those who are about to perish!
79.12
Give back to our neighbors seven times in their midst The insults they have done to you, Lord!
79.13
And we, your people, the flock of your pasture, will praise you forever; From generation to generation we will publish your praise.
