Saint Calminius is invoked for all diseases that affect the tongue: swelling, paralysis, tumors, etc.
Saint Calminius was Duke of Aquitaine. Anxious to propagate the good and the true faith, he founded two Abbeys. His kindness extended to the prisoners, to the exiles, to all the unfortunate.
The relics of Saint Calminius are enclosed in the Limoges enamel reliquary, kept in the abbey church of Mozac. This reliquary constitutes in itself a source of the life of Saint Calminius, in particular of his three pious foundations (abbeys of Mozac, Laguenne and Monastier-Saint-Chaffre). In any case, this is the hagiographic vision that the monks of Mozac had of it in Roman times. This source must therefore be taken into consideration with great caution, since it recounts episodes that took place several centuries before the making of the reliquary.

INVOCATION
(T) Saint Calminius, intercede for me.
(T) All of you, saints of God, intercede for me.
(T) From all evil, deliver me, Lord.
(T) Be propitious to me, forgive me, Lord.
(T) Be propitious to me, hear me, Lord.
Saint Calminius, who reigns over the tongue of men, pray for me.

PRAYER
O my sweet Jesus! My soul must always have its eyes raised towards your holy cross, to consider there the wonders of your immense charity; so that my heart, always filled with love and gratitude for your benefits, may serve you with constant fidelity. So be it.
