On your white horse, O Saint George, you ride through nights and fogs in search of the black dragon. Tirelessly you ride on the deceitful roads to deliver those who without recourse and without fortune are chained to Leviathan. Saint George, I pray thee, deliver me from the monster of the abyss, come in haste to my rescue; strengthen my lean arm on the path of life; and free me from my chains that I may find good fortune without worry. Luminous rider, mounted on your white steed, let the hoof of this pure horse strike the ground; may it give me luck and hope, success and all joy. Through Jesus Christ, our divine Saviour. Amen.
