New Year to God Protection Forgiveness Purification
Lord Jesus, present in the Blessed Sacrament,
I adore and glorify You. Your Holy Name has been invoked upon me. I bless You for everything and thank You for Your immense goodness towards me. My life is before You as a bundle of sins. On this day, I would sincerely like to ask Your forgiveness for all my shortcomings.
I come to thank You for the life You give me and to entrust You with the end of my year: You are Alpha and Omega, You know the furrows of my life, You know me better than myself. You know my strengths, You know my many weaknesses. However, You accept to walk with me to show me the value of Your blood shed on the wood of the cross. Out of pure love, You gave Yourself up for me so that I could be a witness of this love wherever I go.
In baptism, you gave me your Spirit and made me your full image.
Today, strengthened by these graces that You are pouring into me, I would like to tell You of my lowliness before Your Majesty and to bow before Your Glory: with You, I have life, movement and being, without You I am a creature without meaning. Today, I would like to entrust my life to You again, especially at the end of this year. Like Saint Peter, I acknowledge Your Divinity and would like You to hold my life in Your hands: to whom shall I go Lord? You alone have the words of eternal life. You know my existence and my experience, You know how often the forces of evil extend their networks at the end of the year: illnesses, accidents, bewitchment, and bewitchment are brought to light to obey the occult forces.
Lord, I abandon myself to You alone, protect my many activities and my end-of-year travels. Let no evil force have the upper hand over me for your blood on the cross has cleansed me.
