Luck for the dying
Lord,
This is the last prayer I would like to say to you,
before leaving this earth,
while You call me home.
Thank you for the great love you loved me with.
Despite my faults, believe me
I loved You, I believed in You, I hoped in You.
Very good father,
your Son Jesus made known to us your great mercy.
Grant me forgiveness for all the faults in my life.
Forget the ones that I may have committed
against You and against my neighbor.
In this hour I forgive willingly
to people who may have offended me.
I thank You for all the blessings You have bestowed upon me.
Thank you also for the tests.
I found them tough sometimes.
I understand them better now.
Lord Jesus,
You who promised to lead to your Father
all those He has entrusted to You,
You are my salvation.
In You I place all my trust.
Holy Spirit,
You are light and strength on my path,
lead me to the mysterious meeting on the threshold of eternity.
Allow, Lord Jesus,
that I recommend myself to Mary, your Mother and mine,
to Saint Joseph, patron of the good death,
to my guardian angel, always faithful companion,
to saints,
to my parents and friends who are waiting for me in your house.

When you are lucky, things usually work out in the sense that you are more successful. You always arrive at the right time to benefit from this or that thing or situation. You meet the right people on your way. Generally speaking, you attract the right people, the right events...
It is true that there are people who are naturally born lucky. However, it also happens that bad people steal or turn this luck into bad luck.
Whether one is a believer or not, luck comes from the Most High. It is He who gives to those who ask for it, in one way or another. Our inner ways of being and doing play a big part in everything that happens to us.
There is an adage that says "If you draw the devil on the wall, he appears in your house".
