Saints healing physical illnesses LuckThis Holy Abbess is invoked to be preserved from diabetes and also to find a good place to stay when travelling.
INVOCATION:
O most merciful Jesus, dispenser of all good things and graces, may all that heaven and earth contain praise you in return for the extreme goodness with which you poured into the heart of your handmaid, St. Gertrude, the abundance of your mercies and graces. I dare to remind you, O Jesus, of the promise you made to grant always and in all circumstances the requests that would be addressed to you through Saint Gertrude. I beg you, therefore, in the name of your blessed servant, not to let me go to grief, and to grant me the salutary effect of my request.
St. Gertrude, sure refuge and source of graces for all those who invoke you, pray for us.
LET US PRAY:
O Lord, be always a good shepherd to me in spite of my ungratefulness, and though I have often shunned your guidance, open to me the gates of your kingdom, and bring me in through your holy wounds. Alas! you are overwhelmed with the cruellest sufferings, I want to take my share of them. Protect me with your holy passion; for without your scourging I would be scourged with the sharp rods of my sins; without your wounds I cannot escape the wounds of the devil, and without your death I would die in my hardening. Ah! how much my soul could be enriched by all that you have suffered for it! But I had the misfortune to flee from your cross and your passion, and that is why I became so poor. Woe to me! For in fleeing from the reproach of your cross, as the world calls it, I have deserved to be despised by you, your angels, your saints and all men. So be it.

When you are lucky, things usually work out in the sense that you are more successful. You always arrive at the right time to benefit from this or that thing or situation. You meet the right people on your way. Generally speaking, you attract the right people, the right events...
It is true that there are people who are naturally born lucky. However, it also happens that bad people steal or turn this luck into bad luck.
Whether one is a believer or not, luck comes from the Most High. It is He who gives to those who ask for it, in one way or another. Our inner ways of being and doing play a big part in everything that happens to us.
There is an adage that says "If you draw the devil on the wall, he appears in your house".
If you want to attract luck to you, the work to be done starts within you. Learn to think positive first. When you pray, for example, really think about getting what you ask for. Believe. Have faith.
If you are experiencing repeated situations where you feel you are unlucky, allprayers.com offers prayers (psalms and other prayers) to enable you to ask the God-above-all to grant you luck in your projects or endeavours.
Think you have it and you will have it!
