Psalm 127
127.1
Song of degrees. From Solomon. Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain; Unless the Lord guards the city, his keeper watches in vain.
127.2
In vain do you get up in the morning, go to bed late, and eat your bread of sorrows; He gives so much to his loved ones while they sleep.
127.3
Behold, children are an inheritance from the LORD; the fruit of the womb is a reward.
127.4
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of youth.
127.5
Happy the man who filled his quiver with them! They will not be confused, When they speak with enemies at the door.
