Prayer to Saint Francis Xavier

(Novena known as of grace)

Saint very kind and full of charity,
I respectfully adore with you the Divine Majesty,
and because I take pleasure in singularly
in the thought of special gifts
of the grace that she left you during your life,
and those of glory after your death,
I give him very fervent thanksgiving,
and I beg you with all my heart to get me,
through your powerful intercession,
the grace so important to live
and to die holy.
I beg you to get me too
(designate the particular grace we want to obtain);
and if what I'm asking is not
according to the glory of god
and the greatest good of my soul,
get me what there is
moreover conforms to one and the other.

We recommend adding:

1. The Oration of the feast of Saint Francis Xavier.

2. Three Pater and three Ave in memory of the rank of devotion he had for the Most Holy Trinity.

3. Ten Gloria Patri in recognition of the blessings with which God showered him during his ten years of apostolate.

PRAYER

Lord, who by preaching
and the miracles of Blessed Francis,
wanted to reunite with your Church
the nations of India,
do us the favor
to imitate the virtues of that
whose merits and glory we revere.
Through Our Lord Jesus Christ.

So be it.
