Psalm 146: Hymn to God who gives life
Blessed is he who relies on God
1 Hallelujah!
Sing, O my soul, the praise of the Lord!
2 I want to praise the Lord as long as I live,
sing my hymns to my God while I live.
3 Do not rely on the mighty,
the fils of men who cannot save!
4 Their souffle is gone: they return to the earth; and in that day their plans perish.
5 Blessed is he who relies on the God of Jacob, who puts his hope in the Lord his God, 6 who made heaven and earth
and the sea and all that is in them!
He keeps his fidelity forever,
7 He does justice to the oppressed; to the affamous he gives bread; the Lord unbinds those in chains.
8 The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; the Lord lifts up the burdened,
the Lord loves the righteous,
9 The Lord protects the stranger.
He supports the widow and the orphan, he leads astray the steps of the wicked.
From age to age the Lord will reign: your God, O Zion, for ever!
Prayer: God, who grants heaven as a reward to those who keep watch in the service of your praise, we pray you, remove the darkness from our hearts so that we may have the joy of contemplating your light without fin.

To God, the being above all, nothing is impossible. Everything is possible with him. Whatever difficulties you find yourself in, trust in him, have faith. Pray to him and he will answer you.
Prayers addressed directly to God do not go through any intermediary. He receives them as they are. Some people prefer this type of prayer where they speak, in their hearts, directly to God.
God is present everywhere. Within us and without us. Even when we think we are alone, he is there. He sees us, he listens to us. He knows us better than we know ourselves.
Like a good father with his children, he is compassionate, merciful and always ready to forgive us our failings and sins.
Let us entrust ourselves to him, ask him for the grace to be a reflection of his love for mankind. Let us entrust ourselves to him and be attentive to the different signs and messages that he sends us every day, within us or outside us through our fellow human beings.
