Saint Peregrine is invoked to obtain the healing of hysterical people.
Saint Peregrine came from a humble Italian family; he was born around 615 and the wonders that surrounded his birthplace showed that God would make him a chosen servant.
Driven by untiring zeal, he became a bishop, but refusing to renounce his faith among the pagans, he drowned.

INVOCATION:
O God, Creator and Redeemer, grant me the remission of my sins along with the healing of this cruel disease. Grant me this favor by the merits of your saints and of Saint Peregrine, you who being God, live and reign with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit for ever and ever, So be it.
Saint Peregrine, powerful intercessor who is invoked with confidence for the healing of hysteria, pray for me.

PRAYER:
O Jesus, broken by the most cruel sufferings, I go over in my spirit the atrocious pains that you endured in your body: adorable on the tree of the cross; and I beseech you to offer them to your heavenly Father, when I am about to die, that I may earn forgiveness for all the sins which I have committed against your divine power, in the members of my body. So be it.
