We invoke, Saint Vedast, Vedastus, Waast, Vaast or Gaston, this blessed bishop in favor of children who are too late in walking and against the insensitivity of the extremities.
It was after his famous victory that Clovis, following his vow to be baptized, went to Saint Waast in order to be instructed in the Christian religion.
Saint Waast accompanied Clovis to Reims where he solemnly baptized him and his warriors. During his life and after his death at his tomb, brilliant miracles took place.

INVOCATION:
Divine Jesus who are our Savior, remember the blessings which you gave in abundance to the little children who were presented to you; deign, we beseech you, by the merits of Saint Waast, to grant this child the grace to walk for the glory of the name of Jesus Christ and for his eternal salvation. So be it.
Saint Waast, pray and intercede for the little children we recommend to you.
