Being 'meek as a lamb' has no comparison with being gullible, obedient, passive, and lacking in initiative. The innocence of the lamb makes it incorruptible. Indeed, whatever your concerns, worries, problems, difficulties and responsibilities at the time a lamb appears in a dream, the appearance of this animal is a true revelation, a sign of grace, of forgiveness granted to you (or to yourself), and the certainty that you will emerge from all your trials unscathed and grown - provided, of course, that you do not sacrifice the lamb, your most precious possession, unless it is to eat it, or more accurately to feed on its sweetness and purity, and embody such qualities.

To see a lamb in a dream is a sign of purity, innocence, lightness, freedom, grace. The lamb connects you with the purest, most authentic part of yourself, that part of yourself that no thought or action can defile. This part of yourself that is "as gentle and pure as a lamb" is immortal, yet subject to constant transformation. It is totally receptive. That is why it is gentle. However, "gentle" does not mean submissive or enslaved.

Dream of a lone lamb, or/and of petting it

You will be dealing with a sincere, gentle and tender person, even a very docile one, whom you can trust. Or else, this person represented by the lamb is yourself, the indestructible core of your early childhood, always present and alive in the depths of your being, and with whom you enter into a relationship. In other words, this dream gives you the following message: in all circumstances, if you show innocence, simplicity, gentleness, even docility, everything will go well.

You will learn of the birth of a child. Or perhaps this dream is an expression of the lost innocence of your early childhood for which you are nostalgic. Or you are about to experience a period of prosperity.

Dream of a dead lamb, or dream of eating lamb meat

You will probably be forced to make a sacrifice. Or you will be inclined to make yourself a victim of circumstances.
