O my Jesus, I pray you for the whole Church, grant it the love and light of your Spirit, give strength to the words of priests, so that hardened hearts may soften and return to you, Lord.
O Lord, give us holy priests;
keep them holy yourself.
O Divine and Sovereign Priest,
may the power of your mercy
accompany them everywhere and defend them
from the snares which the devil
which the devil continually lays in wait for the souls of priests.
May the power of your mercy,
O Lord, break and destroy
all that can obscure their holiness ,
for you can do all things.
My beloved Jesus,
I pray for the triumph of the Church,
that you may bless the Holy Father and all the clergy;
to obtain the grace of conversion
of sinners hardened in sin;
for a special blessing and light,
I beg you, Jesus, for the priests
to whom I will confess in the course of my life.
