Invocation to Saint Blaise or Blaise of Sebaste against the dangers of suffocating, cough, whooping cough, goiter and sore throat

Saint Blaise is one of the most popular saints for the effectiveness of his intercession. It is therefore very much invoked.
Because, in his prison, he healed a child who was strangled by a fishbone and who was about to suffocate, and because Saint Blaise had asked God, by healing him, for the grace to relieve all those who, afflicted with sore throats, would recommend themselves to him, they invoke him against the dangers of perishing suffocated. It is also invoked, with great effectiveness, against coughs, whooping cough, goiter and sore throats.

Invocation
My savior and my God, who nourished us with a heavenly goodness, preserve us, through the prayers of your martyr, Saint Blaise, from all that can be harmful to our bodies; from any fatal accident and any dangerous illness which would deprive us at this moment of enjoying you eternally. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Blaise. powerful intercessor for all those who call upon you in the most pressing needs, pray for us.

Prayer
What can I give you, Lord, for all the good you have done to me? O my good Master! I never want to forget the pains you endured because of me, while you preached your doctrine, in your travels, in your watches and your prayers, in the compassionate tears you shed on me, in your sufferings , in the insults, mistreatment and beatings you received during your passion. Never, no never I want to forget the nails of your cross and the wounds of your body. If I forgot all these things, wouldn't I be responsible for the blood you shed on the earth? Ah! How can I not have enough water in my head, enough tears in my eyes to mourn day and night for the death that my Savior Jesus suffered for my sins! So be it.
