Jesus, Mary and Joseph
in you we contemplate
the splendour of true love,
to you we turn
with confidence.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
make our families
places of communion
and cenacles of prayer,
authentic schools of the Gospel
and little domestic churches.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
may families never again
experience violence
of violence, closure
and division :
that anyone who has been hurt
or scandalised
may quickly experience
consolation and healing.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
may the forthcoming Synod of Bishops
may awaken in everyone an awareness
of the sacred and inviolable nature of the family,
its beauty in God's plan.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph
hear us,
answer our prayer.
