Saint Expedit
Come, Creator Spirit, visit the souls of your faithful,
and filled with grace from above the hearts
that you yourself created!
You, who is called the Comforter,
the Gift of the Most High God, the Living Source,
Fire, Charity, Spiritual Anointing.
You are the Spirit of the seven gifts,
the finger of the Father's hand,
his authentic promise,
the one who enriches all prayer.
Shine your light on us,
spread love in our hearts,
support the weakness of our bodies
by your eternal vigour!
Push the Enemy away,
give us peace that lasts;
that under your thoughtful guidance we may avoid all harm!
Make the Father known to us, reveal to us
also the Son,
and you, their common spirit,
always make us believe in you!
Amen
