Saints healing physical illnessesSaint Macrina the Elder is invoked for the healing of breast tumours. The most numerous and dazzling miracles have rewarded the faith and trust of the pious faithful.
INVOCATION:
Lord, who grants us the grace to honour the memory of your holy martyrdom, pour upon us, we beseech you, by the merits of St. Macre, who suffered death with such love for your name, the abundance of your blessings and complete healing of the ills from which we suffer so cruelly. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Holy Macre or Macrine, our refuge and hope in desperate evils, pray for us, and obtain for us, our healing.
LET US PRAY:
O holy cross, who has been worthy to bear the price of the redemption of mankind, through whom we have obtained eternal glory; be my victory over all enemy powers, the cure for all my ills, the rod of my old age, my support in my burdens, the pledge of eternal life, and the guarantor of the resurrection of my body. May Jesus, the Man-God, our Savior, who shed his blood for us, keep me through you and lead me to the heavenly homeland. So be it.
