Saints Self-confidenceSaint Paul of Narbonne, bishop of Narbonne, is invoked against fear and all the physical or moral consequences for which great fear may be responsible.
INVOCATION:
Grant, O my God, that through the intercession and the merits of your blessed Pontiff, I recover calm and confidence. I thank you, O Lord Jesus, for you have already supported me in many slippery steps, you have rescued me from many dangers of death, you have preserved my life. May your holy name be blessed and glorified forever; may Saint Paul of Narbonne always assist us with you with his prayers. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Most Saint Paul of Narbonne, deliver us from all harmful fear and from everything that could take away the peace of the children of God.
PRAYER:
Praise and glory to you, O sweet friend of mankind; glory to you, O merciful; glory to you, O patient; glory to You, who forgive us all our sins; glory to you, who have come to redeem us; glory to you who have taken flesh in the womb of a Virgin; glory to you, who have been bound as a criminal; glory to you who have been scourged; glory to you, who have been full of reproaches; glory to you, who are buried; glory to you who are risen and ascended into heaven; glory to you, who are seated at the right hand of your Father, and who will come to judge souls who have rendered your passion useless with their lives.
Ah! in this hour of dread and horror, when the virtues of the heavens will be shaken, when the choirs of angels, archangels, cherubim and seraphim will appear before your face, in a holy tremor, when the earth will reel on its foundations , and that all that lives will shudder with terror before your incomparable glory; at this hour, hide me in your hand, and save my soul from the consuming fire, from the gnashing of teeth, from eternal darkness and weeping; and may I sing with the elect: Glory to you, O Savior of sinners, for your infinite mercies. So be it.
