I thank you, O my God! You had lent me a good, incomparable mother; but I know very well that she was not mine.

Now, my Lord, you have withdrawn it from yourselves, and your Providence has thus pleased it. It is true that I cherished her more than all the creatures in the world. Nevertheless, since you have ordered it this way, your adorable Will be done! My God, may your holy Name be blessed forever and ever! (By Saint Louis)

for deceased

Losing a loved one is often a daunting ordeal.
If we consider death as the end of biological life, it is also a passage to the fullness of real life. Praying for a deceased person is asking that he or she may experience this passage of heavenly joy. Remember these words from Sacred Scripture: "It is a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be delivered from their sins" (2M 12:46).

The prayers gathered here are meant to protect the family, to encourage each other to love their neighbour, peace, understanding and all that can be beneficial to society.
