In all times the images representing the holy apostles, St. Paul and St. Peter, have been carried by the faithful with the greatest devotion and trust. They use them as a condom against all kinds of misfortunes and accidents.

INVOCATION:
Lord Jesus, my Creator and my Redeemer, I ardently desire to love and serve you as your blessed apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul did, and to deserve their continual assistance throughout my life; May they remove plagues and disastrous accidents from us, and that at the hour of our death they prepare us to enter the kingdom of heaven. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Peter and Saint Paul, protect us, by your assistance, from the ravages of hail, the bite of snakes and sunstroke.

PRAYER:
O my crucified Jesus! don't give up on me. I haven't done anything to please you; but I beseech you, by your infinite mercy, to give me your assistance; so that I now begin to serve you as a faithful disciple, in the shadow of your holy cross. So be it.
