Saint Theodulphus or Thiou was born in the 6th century. His natural charity, which made him the protector of all weaknesses, made him particularly fond of our inferior brothers: the beasts.
He performed many miracles when epidemic diseases destroyed the herds; and the sick animals, as if led by an invisible hand, came to him who blessed and healed them.
Since his death, the people have continued to invoke him for the healing of domestic animals.

INVOCATION:
Lord our God, pour out your blessing on the temporal goods which we have obtained from your goodness. May your protection extend to all your creatures, and in particular to our domestic animals, which we recommend to you through the intercession of Saint Theodulphus, your blessed servant. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Theodulphus, who daily heal both men and animals recommended to your intercession, pray for us.

PRAYER:
And you, O very sweet Jesus! I also humbly ask you to fill my heart with your ineffable love, and your precious memory: so that it may always be consumed with the sweetness of your love, and that earthly pleasures cannot extinguish it there. So be it.
