Saint Godeberte is invoked to obtain the cessation of continuous rains. She is also invoked in favour of the sick whom she fills with benefits, in favour of the blind and paralytics. Saint Godebert had received from God the gift of miracles, but her humility was great and she never ceased to repeat: "I am but the least of the Lord's handmaidens; if he grants, may he be blessed; if he does not grant, may he also be blessed.

INVOCATION:
Be, Lord, favourable to your people, so that, by your blessing and the prayers of Saint Godebert, the earth, receiving fertility from you, may produce its fruits, and that this blessing may be an occasion for us to bless you and love you more every day. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Godebert, be good to us and deliver us from the continuous rains.

LET US PRAY:
Grant, we pray thee, Lord, that we may walk steadfastly in the way of thy precepts, that in our days the people who serve thee may grow in merit and number, through our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
