Saint Lucia, may the light of your eyes enlighten me and guide my steps in the darkness; for God has given you the power to pierce the mystery and probe the deepest abysses.

See where I cannot see, let your eyes be my eyes and the reflection of your gaze become the knowledge of my spirit.

Good martyrdom Lucia, by fire and by water, may no secret be hidden from me and may no hidden spirit be able to hide anything from me.
