God, our Father, bless you for the gift of family life. We pray that our families will be a visible sign of your eternal love in the world.
Give spouses the grace to build a true, patient and humble love day by day, and may they be a faithful image of your Covenant for their children, ready to encourage, share and forgive.
Help the hearts of children and young people to grow in trust in their parents and in the desire to conform their lives to your will. May they use the energy of their youth to discover the vocation to happiness and freedom that you have for them.
Lord Jesus, look kindly on families afflicted by material worries, separation, illness and death. You give us life in your Eucharist: come and dwell in us and make your peace and joy grow within us.
Holy Spirit, give us the strength to persevere in faith, to live each day in your mercy, to overcome trials. Give us the strength to be fraternal supports for those who do not know the warmth of family.
Open our hearts to the Father's will, enlighten our decisions and unify our lives so that we can work to bring about the Kingdom of heaven.
Holy Trinity, raise up in our families the spouses, parents, priests and religious of tomorrow. Amen.

The family is the basic unit of society. When there is harmony in a family, its members reflect this harmony in their interactions with other families in society.
The prayers gathered here are meant to protect the family, to encourage each other to love their neighbour, peace, understanding and all that can be beneficial to society.
