Saint Josse is called upon to obtain healing from liver disease.
Saint Josse gave its name to the town of Saint-Josse (or Saint-Josse-sur-Mer), in the Pas-de-Calais, whose church retains most of its relics.
INVOCATION:
My real evils, Lord, are those which sin has done to my soul, and although I have deserved the severity of your punishments, I do not fail to hope in your mercy, because I call on you, imploring the merits of Saint Josse, your beloved servant. You will have regard, Lord, to your promises and to its merits, and you will hear me, through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Josse, refuge and comforter of those who have recourse to you, pray for us.
PRAYER:
O my Jesus! may your holy cross be my guide: for in the annoyances, in the sorrows and in the shortcomings of life, it is the best refuge and our sweetest support. So be it.
