Saint Job endured all sorrows and pains with remarkable serenity. His faith in God was made of submission to his will. God took away his fortune, took away his sons, his family, his friends, and left him naked as a worm. But instead of believing that God had forsaken him, he kept repeating: "The Lord has given, the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. »
A fine example that we could not do better than to follow. Alas, we are weak and our faith is fickle. Let us therefore pray to Saint Job that he will help us to bear our burden. We invoke this holy Patriarch against ulcers.
We pray to him, and we still recommend ourselves to him in sorrow and melancholy.

INVOCATION:
To commend myself to your protection, O holy Patriarch, I will borrow your admirable words, and I will say with you:
When God killed me, I would not let hope in him; for I know that my Redeemer lives and that I will be resurrected from the earth at the last day. And that, in these extreme pains with which he overwhelms me, without sparing me, there remains at least this consolation that I do not contradict in any way the conduct of the Holy Spirit ".
Most holy man Job, who is invoked very effectively against all kinds of ulcers and against sorrows, pray without ceasing for us.

PRAYER:
I adore you, O Savior Jesus, descending into hell, and delivering your captives there: never let me descend there, I beg you. So be it.
