Saint Cassian of Imola is invoked by those who feel weakness in the limbs. Mothers also invoke him to soften the brutal and cruel character of their son.
Saint Cassian died at the hands of children. He was instructing young pagans and they, on the concerted order of their parents, one day gathered at his side, numbering about 200, and pricked him with the tips of their stylets with a cruelty that the Christian mores in which we are born do not allow us to understand. It was a terrible martyrdom which ended in death. This was around 250.

INVOCATION

Good Jesus, betrayed by the kiss of the traitor Judas, delivered into the cruel hands of your enemies, caught and bound like a criminal, and abandoned by your disciples who cannot even pray and watch with you, have mercy on me, Lord, have pity me. So be it.
