3.1
(3: 1) Psalm of David. On the occasion of his flight from Absalom, his son. (3: 2) O Lord, how many are my enemies! What a multitude is rising up against me!

(3: 3) How many who say about me: No more salvation for him with God! -Pause.

(3: 4) But you, O Lord! you are my shield, you are my glory, and you lift up my head.

(3: 5) With my voice I cry to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain. -Pause.
