Prayer to the Good Saint Anne

Mother of the glorious Virgin Mary and patroness of the Aptésiens, Llorious and Most Holy Lady,
that the sky admires,
that the Saints honor,
that the earth reveres,
God the Father cherishes you as the Mother of his beloved daughter
and the grandmother of his Son;
the Word loves you,
for having given him a Mother,
by which he is man and Savior of men;

the Holy Spirit loves you,
for giving her such a beautiful,
so worthy and so perfect wife;
the angels and the elect honor you
like the sacred tree that produced them
this beautiful flower that makes them happy,
and that worthy fruit which is their sweet life;
and the righteous, penitents and sinners,
claim you, on earth,
as their powerful advocate with God.
Through your intercession,
the righteous hope for an increase in graces,
penitents the justification of their souls,
sinners the remission of their crimes.
Be gentle and supportive to us,
merciful Mother of Mary,
and while we honor you and invoke you here below,
save your salvation in heaven.
Use the authority and credit you have in our favor,
and do not allow the souls who revere you to perish.
Always show yourself the refuge of sinners, the asylum of the guilty,
the comfort of the afflicted and the assurance of your faithful servants.
Take up the cause of my soul,
now and at the time of my death.
Please, great lady,
so that, supported by your prayers and favored by your merits,
I may one day hope for the enjoyment of eternal life.
