to God in the morning
+ In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Lord, here I am at daybreak to confier you my week and each day of it. Guide my steps and bless my meetings. May each one remind me of how much you want us to be united with one another. Amen.
Psalm 30: Into your hands I commend my spirit
2 In you, O Lord, I take refuge; keep me from being afflicted forever.
In your righteousness set me free;
3 Listen, and come to deliver me. Be the rock that shelters me,
the fortified house that saves me.
4 You are my fortress and my rock:
for the sake of your name, you guide me and lead me.
5 You pull me out of the filet they have set for me; yes, you are my shelter.
6 Into your hands I commend my spirit;
You redeem me, O Lord, God of truth.
7 I hate the worshippers of false gods, and I am sure of the Lord.
8 Your love makes me dance for joy:
you see my misery and know my distress.
9 You have not given me into the hands of the enemy; you have opened a way for me.
10 Have mercy on me, O Lord; I am in distress.
Pain gnaws at my eyes, my throat and my insides.
11 My life ends in tears, and my years in sorrow. Sin has made me weak; it gnaws at my bones.
12 I am a laughing stock to my adversaries and even to my neighbours
I frighten my friends
(if they see me in the street, they run away from me). 13 I am ignored like a forgotten dead person, like a thing thrown away.
14 I hear the slander of the people; they are terrified on every side.
They have taken counsel against me; they are agreed in taking my life.
15 But I am sure of you, O Lord; I say, "You are my God!
16 My days are in your hand: deliver me from the hostile hands that strive against me.
17 Let your face shine on your servant; save me with your love.
18 Lord, keep me from being humbled, I who call to you.
But let the ungodly be humbled; let them enter into the silence of the dead. 19 Let the liars be mute, for they speak against the righteous
with pride, insolence and contempt.
20 How great are your benefits!
You reserve them for those who fear you. You fill the world with joy,
those who take refuge in you.
21 You hide them in the secret of your face, far from the intrigues of men.
You keep them in a safe place, away from wicked tongues.
22 Blessed be the Lord:
His love has done wonders for me in the fallen city.
23 And I, in my trouble, said:
"I am no longer before your eyes" Yet you heard my prayer when I cried out to you.
24 Love the Lord, you who are his followers: the Lord watches over his own;
But he will punish with rigour those who are arrogant.
25 Be strong, take courage, all you who hope in the Lord.
Prayer: Lord, King of heaven and earth, direct and sanctifie, order and govern our hearts and bodies, our thoughts, words and deeds today: make us follow your will and your orders so that here below and forever we may live, by your grace, free and saved. You who reign for ever and ever.

To God, the being above all, nothing is impossible. Everything is possible with him. Whatever difficulties you find yourself in, trust in him, have faith. Pray to him and he will answer you.
