Invocation to Saint Cybard to drive away evil spirits and demons from the bodies of the possessed

Saint Cybard is invoked for protection, in times of epidemic, from smallpox. He is also invoked to drive out evil spirits and demons from the body of the possessed.
Saint Cybard was an active and enterprising monk; he traveled through many countries, preaching the religion of Christ. He converted many infidels, revived the faith of the lukewarm and brought the lost to the right path.
Arrived in an area where smallpox, then called smallpox, claimed many lives, the saint prayed and the epidemic ended immediately. Many miracles were the fruit of his virtues and God granted him the grace, towards the end of his life, to cast out demons.

PRAYER
O God, who to help our weakness in the road to salvation, gave us the example and assistance of your saints, give us such confidence in the merits of Blessed Cybard that we take part in his prayers and that we were getting the favor we're asking for from you right now. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Cybard, who is invoked so effectively for preservation or to cure smallpox, pray for us who call on you with confidence.

INVOCATION
O my crucified Jesus! So that I may be completely in accordance with you, pierce my heart with the spiritual spear of your word, as yours was pierced with an iron spear after your death. May your speech, sharper than the most piercing features, wounds my heart with all its might, and penetrate it furthermore; and from my heart thus wounded by you, flow the blood of my love for you, and the water of charity for my neighbor. So be it.
