Saints healing physical illnessesThis blessed martyr is invoked to obtain the cure of eye diseases or to maintain good eyesight.
INVOCATION:
O God who, by a divine designation, willed that Blessed Flamine be chosen as our Advocate with you to obtain the healing of our eyes, grant that, after praying to her with all our heart, we may deserve to bless you eternally in her holy company. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Flamine, effective remedy for those who lose their sight, pray for us and obtain for us the deliverance from our sufferings.
PRAYER:
O my God, whose mercy is infinite and forgiving of sins, be mindful of the sufferings of souls in purgatory; remember, Almighty God, that you created them in your image; that they are the work of your hands, and that it was for them and for us that Jesus Christ shed his blood and suffered severe torment.
Bowing down before you, O my God, I beseech you, by the merits of this precious blood, to shorten their labors which they have earned, and to fulfill their desires; call them into your eternal rest, remove them from the labors they are suffering, give them entry into your glory for which you created them, and let them not be long deprived of your divine presence.
Grant, O my God, the prayers I address to you for them, in the name and through the merits of Jesus Christ your dear Son our Saviour, and through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin, through the intercession of all the saints who have the good fortune to be pleasing to you and to reign with you in heaven. So be it.
