Saint Hilarion is particularly invoked to be protected from epidemic jaundice, and to be cured of it.
Saint Hilarion was born in Egypt of pagan parents. At the age of 15, converted to the Christian faith, he was baptised. Renouncing the great possessions he had received from his parents, he distributed them to the poor.
He spent most of his life struggling with the devil, prey to the most insidious temptations. His faith and humility enabled him to emerge victorious from these exhausting struggles.
His reputation for sanctity attracted crowds and miracles were numerous and continued after his death.

INVOCATION:
Glory to God in the highest heavens and peace on earth to men of good will. I praise you (+), Lord, I adore you (+), I bless you (+), I glorify you (T), I give you thanks (T), because you listen to my prayer and you will answer it for the greater glory of Saint Hilarion.
Saint Hilarion, who deprive jaundice of the power to harm us, pray for me, help me.

PRAYER:
Lord, who cried out: "All is consummated", allow my soul, when it leaves this world, to hear your sweet voice saying to her: Come to me, my friend, my sweet bride, come and assist in my kingdom at the feast of life, with my angels and my saints; come and enjoy eternal happiness with me. So be it.
