Saint Anastasius is particularly invoked by those who suffer from kidney ailments.
Saint Anastasius was a hermit on Mount Sinai around AD 700. He was a remarkable theologian, but his greatest virtues were charity and humility.

Invocation
My God, who allow your servant to be reached in his flesh, we ask you, through the merits of your saints and through the intercession of Saint Anastasius, to grant him, if it is your will, the healing of his illness and repentance of his faults so that he does not fall back into the mistakes that made him sick. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Anastasius, be auspicious to us and deliver us from our suffering.

Prayer
I greet you with love, O my Jesus, plunged in pain: O you, palm of patience, you who, to redeem guilty men, were nailed to an ignominious cross, and who for three hours suffered in your body and in your soul such dreadful torments that inanimate nature itself was terrified. Hail, O my Jesus. So be it.
