Invocation to Saint Eustace (Eustachius or Eustathius) to obtain the healing of eye diseases, fevers and sick children

Saint Eustace is invoked to obtain healing from eye diseases, fevers and sick children.
He is particularly honored in England where he preached the gospel of Jesus Christ and died around the year 1210.
Saint Eustace performed many miracles, both during his lifetime and after his death. The fountain which springs on his prayer was long frequented by the sick who came there to seek remedy for their ills.

INVOCATION
O God, who have poured out grace on the lips of Saint Eustace and the most ardent charity in his heart, deign, O my almighty God, remember those countries which heresy has detached from your Church, after having been so long honored by its illustrious Saints. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Eustace, pray, we beg you, for all the sick whom we urge you to do.

PRAYER
May I remember, Lord, that I am submissive to my superiors, charitable to my inferiors, faithful to my friends, and indulgent to my enemies.
Come to my aid to overcome lust with mortification, greed with alms, anger with gentleness, and lukewarmness with devotion. So be it.
