Hail Mary,
white lily;
you have delighted the eyes
of the Superadorable Trinity
who in the eternal abode
of light and peace.
I salute you,
Dazzling rose of heavenly sweetness,
Immaculate Virgin,
whom the King of heaven
wanted to choose for his Mother
and who nourished him
with your virginal milk.
Ah! let the torrent of divine grace

Saint Gertrude, in the third book of the Insinuations, ch. XIX, assures us that Mary promised marvellous graces to those who will recite this beautiful prayer to her, and the holy Virgin adds, concluding this revelation: "At the death of the one who will have devoutly recited this prayer to me, I will come, I will appear to him in the radiance of such a brilliant beauty, that his heart will be marvellously consoled and will begin to taste the delights of heaven.
