Blessed are the poor at heart:
The Kingdom of Heaven is theirs!
Blessed are the meek:
They shall obtain the promised land!
Blessed are they that mourn:
they shall be comforted.
Blessed are they that hunger and thirst
of justice:
They will be satisfied!
Blessed are the merciful:
they shall obtain mercy!
Blessed are the pure in heart:
they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers:
they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted
for justice:
The Kingdom of Heaven is theirs!
Blessed are you if they insult you,
if you are persecuted
and if one falsely says any kind of evil
against you because of me.
Rejoice,
be glad,
for your reward will be great
in the heavens!
