Our Father, who art in heaven, I beg you to deign to forgive the souls in Purgatory for not having loved you, for not having rendered you the worship which is due to you, to you, their august and dear Father, but to you. to have moved away from their heart, where you desire to live; and to make up for their fault, I offer you the love and honor that your darling Son has given you on earth, and that abundant satisfaction with which he has paid the debt for all their sins. So be it.

Hallowed be your name; I beseech you, O tender Father, to deign to forgive the souls of the deceased for never having honored your holy Name with dignity, for rarely remembering it with devotion, for having often used it in vain, and for having made, by their dishonorable life, unworthy of the name of Christian. And as satisfaction for this sin, I offer you the most perfect holiness of your Son, by which he exalted your Name in his preaching, and honored him in all his most holy works. So be it.

May your reign come; I pray you, O tender Father, to deign to forgive the souls of the deceased for never having fervently desired, nor carefully sought you and your kingdom, in which only true rest and eternal glory consist. To atone for all their indifference to any kind of good, I offer you the holy desires by which your Son wanted us to be joint heirs with his kingdom. So be it.

Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven; I implore you, O tender Father, to deign to forgive the souls of the deceased, and especially of religious, for having preferred their will to yours and not to have loved your will in everything, in order to live and act very often in after theirs. And to repair their disobedience, I offer you the union of the very sweet Heart of your Son with your holy will, as well as the prompt submission with which he obeyed you until the death on the cross. So be it.

Give us today our daily bread; I beseech you, O tender Father, to forgive the souls of the deceased for not having received the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar with the desires, devotion and love that it deserves, for having surrendered, for a great number, unworthy, and of having seldom or never received it. To atone for their sin, I offer you the perfect holiness and devotion of your Son, as well as the ardent love and ineffable desire that led him to give us this precious treasure. So be it.

And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; I beseech you, O tender Father, to deign to forgive the souls of the dead for the deadly sins into which they have fallen, especially by not forgiving those who had offended them and by not loving their enemies. For these sins, I offer you the sweetest prayer that your Son made on the cross for his enemies. So be it.

And don't let us get into temptation; I beseech you, O tender Father, to forgive the souls of the deceased for not having resisted their vices and their concupiscence, for having often consented to the snares of the devil and the flesh, and for having voluntarily engaged in a lot of bad deeds. For the multitude of their sins, I offer you the glorious victory by which your Son conquered the world and the devil, as well as his most holy life, with all his labors and his fatigue, his very bitter passion and his death. So be it.

But deliver us from evil; deliver them also from all evil and from all pain, by the merits of your dear Son, and lead them into the kingdom of your glory, which is none other than yourself. So be it.
