Have you lost a loved one recently or know someone who has? If you have, you know how difficult it can be. Here is a prayer that will help you through this tough time and connect you with God when you need him the most.

The loss of a loved one can be one of the most painful parts of life. Grief and mourning come in many different stages and it is easy to let emotion consume you during these difficult times. However, it is important to keep God close to your heart instead of pushing Him away.  Remember that you need God now more than ever and He wants you to be happy again despite the loss and heartbreak you may feel.

In addition to losing a loved one yourself, it is also difficult to know how to help someone else who has lost someone close. One way to comfort them is to pray to God that they find peace and comfort in their time of need. With the love and reassurance God can provide, it is possible to ease the pain of those who are hurting.

This prayer can help you and your friends or family to cope with the loss of a loved one by asking God to pay close attention to them so they are able to move on.

Prayer:

O God, who brought us to birth, and in whose arms we die, in our grief and shock, contain and comfort us; embrace us with Your love, give us hope in our confusion and grace to let go into new life; through Jesus Christ. Amen.

to God

To God, the being above all, nothing is impossible. Everything is possible with him. Whatever difficulties you find yourself in, trust in him, have faith. Pray to him and he will answer you.

Prayers addressed directly to God do not go through any intermediary. He receives them as they are. Some people prefer this type of prayer where they speak, in their hearts, directly to God.

God is present everywhere. Within us and without us. Even when we think we are alone, he is there. He sees us, he listens to us. He knows us better than we know ourselves.

Like a good father with his children, he is compassionate, merciful and always ready to forgive us our failings and sins.

Let us entrust ourselves to him, ask him for the grace to be a reflection of his love for mankind. Let us entrust ourselves to him and be attentive to the different signs and messages that he sends us every day, within us or outside us through our fellow human beings.

difficult causes

Prayers for difficult causes are effective for complicated, desperate or difficult cases. Situations where all seems lost.

If you are going through complicated times, if you think you have already tried everything and your situation does not change, if everything seems to be going against you, try prayers for difficult cases. Pray with faith and fervour.

These prayers are usually attributed to certain saints whose intercession is infallible with God the Father or His Son Jesus Christ.

Whether it is under the intercession of St. Rita, St. Joseph, St. Anne, Padre Pio or other saints, testimonies are pouring in from people all over the world who have experienced the power of God through these prayers for difficult causes.

If you are living in difficult situations, if you have problems that you think are hopeless, if you are in despair over the unpredictable events of life, if you have searched for a long time but have not found what you were looking for, if you have lost the taste for life, try these prayers for difficult causes.

Jesus

Jesus Christ is a central figure in Christianity. He is regarded as the incarnation of God.

The historical existence of Jesus is attested by archaeological research and by the accounts of Roman historians (Flavius Josephus, Tacitus, Suetonius).

At about the age of thirty, Jesus left Nazareth and began an itinerant public life. He calls his disciples and walks with them through Judea and Galilee. He teaches, he heals the sick, casts out demons, walks on water, forgives sins, raises the dead. He is attentive to children. He shares meals, a wedding party, pilgrimages to Jerusalem. He lives as a Jewish believer, goes to the synagogue, observes the Sabbath. He weeps, gets angry, experiences sadness, fatigue and thirst, compassion and even anguish. Jesus is known for his natural authority.

With all the miracles he performed, Jesus is the one to whom prayers should be addressed no matter what difficulties one faces.

for deceased

Losing a loved one is often a daunting ordeal.
If we consider death as the end of biological life, it is also a passage to the fullness of real life. Praying for a deceased person is asking that he or she may experience this passage of heavenly joy. Remember these words from Sacred Scripture: "It is a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be delivered from their sins" (2M 12:46).
