Your mercy and your light, O Christ, stream down on humanity plunged in sin and give birth to a crowd of witnesses to your love (Liturgy of Sylvanès).

O Jesus, I consecrate myself to you and to your mercy. At your school, I want to give myself over to life and love as others give themselves over to hatred and death. May the love of your heart shape me and permeate me so that it can shine on all those you entrust to me. Make me a missionary of your love.

You know my selfishness and my withdrawal into myself, so let me, on this day and every day, turn resolutely towards you to make myself all things to all people. Let my life no longer be centred on me, but on you who died and rose again for us.
